MyInsuranceExpert.com in Troy. Following a successful 13-year career in residential building and real estate sales, Zalesin launched MyInsuranceExpert.com in 2006. The company has grown to nearly 100 employees and its services are currently available in 45 states. It recently received an investment from Rockbridge Growth Equity LLC, a private equity firm based in Detroit, and plans to move to Detroit and hire another 100 employees in 2012. MyInsuranceExpert.com offers insurance services and support throughout the United States. Under Zalesin's leadership, MyInsuranceExpert.com was named one of Michigan's 50 "Companies to Watch" in 2011, honored with a Top Workplace award from the
Detroit Free Press in 2009 and 2010, and listed as one of Metropolitan Detroit's 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For in 2010. Previously, Zalesin served as CEO of residential builder Bruce Building CoHe is a licensed residential builder, licensed residential real estate broker, and licensed in life insurance and health insurance. He also chairs the University of Michigan Hillel board of trustees. Zalesin earned a bachelor's degree and an MBA from the University of Michigan. He is also a graduate of the William Davidson Business Institute and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's "Birthing of Giants," an educational program focused on successful leadership practices and unique growth strategies for entrepreneurs.
