President and CEO of iDashboards in Troy. Malik is co-founder of iDashboards, a business intelligence dashboard software firm. He holds two patents in the area of data visualization for dashboards. A specialist in the field of enterprise dashboards, Malik has worked with hundreds of businesses and global organizations to address their specific needs and build dashboard solutions for organizational scorecards, finance, operations, customer service, quality control, and supply chain. He has authored the first book on dashboard best practices, Enterprise Dashboards: Design and Best Practices for IT, and has written numerous articles and given presentations on the subjects of enterprise dashboards and data visualization. Malik earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from IIT in India and his master’s degree in operations research from Virginia Tech.
