Founder and CEO of CRT Medical Systems Inc. in Novi. CRT, the largest multispecialty medical billing company in Michigan, has processed more than $600 million in insurance claims for more than 1,200 clients throughout Michigan and the Midwest. The firm provides electronic medical records (EMR) that give medical practices fully integrated practice management and EMR software solutions customized for implementation, training, and ongoing support via its 20,000-square-foot data center in Novi. Under Doyle's leadership, CRT has been recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in Michigan as well as one of Crain's Detroit Business' Top Places to Work. The Healthcare Billing and Management Association has recognized CRT as one of the top 50 largest billing companies in the nation. The company recently acquired Continuum Management Services Inc. of Dearborn. Prior to CRT, Doyle worked at Compuware Corp. and the Michigan Department of Treasury. He is involved with L2G (Live to Give Foundation) a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that makes charity personal by connecting people while rebuilding Michigan. Doyle received his bachelor's degree in computer science from Ferris State University.

WHERE MY FIELD/INDUSTRY IS HEADED: “I see huge potential for our business model. Health care is under attack from all sides to reduce costs, improve efficiencies, and provide better health care. Our business model is one of the pieces that can help reduce costs and improve revenue for the industry. In fact, we've developed a very accurate pro forma for potential clients that shows we can clearly reduce their costs of financial administration by 30 to 40 percent.”

FAVORITE TECHNOLOGICAL GADGET: “My iPhone. It just amazes me that I can carry a computer in my pocket given what I worked on back in 1974.”

I've always loved being an entrepreneur and whenever possible I try to encourage young people to take risks and push the envelope so they can take what they dream about and turn it into reality.”
