Founder and President, H2bid.com in Detroit. Attorney Glenn Oliver created H2bid.com to create an efficient market for commercial transactions in the water and wastewater industries. The site’s goal is to provide access to any water or wastewater contract opportunity anywhere in the world. Out of nearly 1,000 entries, H2bid.com is one of five finalists in the Forbes.com Boost Your Business contest. Previously, Oliver served former Detroit Mayor Dennis Archer as the public safety director and group executive where he supervised eight departments and was a member of the Detroit Water and Sewerage Board of Commissioners. He also has prior experience at a Minneapolis law firm and worked with Archer at the Michigan Supreme Court as a judicial law clerk. His memberships include the state bars of Michigan, California and Minnesota; federal district courts in Michigan and Minnesota; and the U.S. Court of International Trade. He received his bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School.
