Sappington develops and implements the companyís business strategies and oversees day-to-day operations. He also manages the gloStream software research and development team in India. Sappington has more than 20 years of experience with fast-growing technology companies. A decade ago, as partner and COO of Michigan-based Netrex Secure Solutions, he took part in pioneering and developing a platform for managed security services for the Internet. Sappington helped build Netrex into one of the worldís largest managed security services companies. During his tenure, the company experienced tremendous growth, doubling revenue each year while obtaining a reputation as a leading security solutions provider among Fortune 500 companies. Netrex was eventually purchased by Internet Security Systems, which is now part of IBM. Prior to Netrex, Sappington held sales and senior management positions at Aangstrom Precision Corp., a software development and services company for the oil and gas industry. Sappington received his bachelorís degree in business administration from Central Michigan University. He is an active angel investor and currently serves as a director of Truarx, a Farmington Hills-based security management services company.
