DAVID MARINO:
President and owner of Vision Computer Solutions in Northville. Vision Computer provides information technology and computer services support for healthcare, nonprofit, professional services, and manufacturing clients in Michigan and Ohio. Marino has more than 30 years of business experience in southeast Michigan. Under his leadership, the company introduced its "fixed monthly fee" ForeSite managed IT services program, which doubled the number of clients in the first half of 2011. New clients include Taubman Asset Group in Bloomfield Hills, Vendor Managed Solutions in Troy, and Group10 Management in Farmington Hills. Marino also announced the opening of an Ann Arbor office to service Vision's rapidly expanding customer base. Vision was selected as one of
Corp! Magazine's Michigan Economic Bright Spots and has been recognized by Automation Alley and received Troy's Helen eWard for Web Excellence. The firm has also partnered with Northville dentist Jim "Doc" Payne to donate 30 notebook computers to troops serving overseas. Vision is a Microsoft gold-certified partner and Microsoft small business specialist. Previously, Marino held positions of increasing responsibility at Exotic Automation in Farmington Hills, eventually becoming president. He serves on the Apostle Build board of Habitat for Humanity of Western Wayne County.
