Stern’s extensive litigation experience in complex commercial, securities, and corporate (including federal and state class actions), real estate, products liability, and trademark cases places him in several national and regional rankings. He represents publicly and privately owned corporations, banking institutions, real estate developers, partnerships, and individuals in state and federal trial and appellate courts and arbitrations.. Honigman Miller has been ranked the No. 1 law firm in Michigan for practice areas that Stern is involved in, including corporate/mergers and acquisitions, general commercial litigation, and real estate for the sixth year in a row by Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business 2010. Stern’s professional affiliations include the State, American, and Federal Bar Associations. He is a fellow of the Michigan State and Oakland County Bar Foundations and former president of the latter’s board of trustees. Stern is a member of the commercial advisory council for the American Arbitration Association and is a court-appointed facilitator for Oakland County Circuit Court.
