PETER STEVENSON:
COO and Managing Director, RTT USA Inc. in Royal Oak. Stevenson is responsible for coordinating client teams to provide software and support to RTT’s three-dimensional (3D) visualization product offerings. RTT provides 3D visualization software and services for product design and marketing, helping designers experience concepts interactively and allowing marketing and sales teams to create materials for Web, print, and television before the actual product is available. Stevenson was a one-man shop when the Royal Oak office opened in 2006 and helped grow the company to about 30 employees today. He recently initiated a partnership with Lawrence Technological University, through which RTT provided six licenses of its proprietary DeltaGen design software for students in the transportation design program. Prior to joining RTT, Stevenson’s career was evenly split between the United States and Europe in his work with Urban Science Applications, Inc., a global management consultancy that he joined in 1993. Most recently, Stevenson held the title of director of product development and was responsible for developing and implementing site analysis solutions globally. Stevenson received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Aberdeen.
