MARK LUNDQUIST:
Founder, President, and CEO of Fulcrum Edge in Bloomfield Hills. Lundquist formed Fulcrum Edge, a business advisory firm, to lead companies through growth, support senior management through transitional change, and develop state-of-the-art business plans. The company has expanded to serve an increasing roster of worldwide clients and has recently hired additional employees to keep up with demand. Fulcrum Edge assists leaders and investors in businesses, boards, agencies, and institutions by identifying problems and opportunities and creating and implementing solutions. This year, the company marked its 10th anniversary and moved into an expanded office to meet growing client demand. Lundquist has developed and led transition training for joint ventures in Asia and America, as well as industry training and penetration for new markets, such as automotive, aerospace, logistics, and supply chain management. Lundquist spent 15 years in the aerospace and defense industries before coming to Detroit to work in the automotive, controls, and robotics industries. He has held executive positions with Bosch, Mannesmann AG, Norgren Automotive, and Grimes Aerospace. Lundquist has founded four companies and taken one public via IPO, and recently also became chairman and CEO of a wireless broadband technology company. He is a mentor to TechTown and Ann Arbor Spark, and speaks frequently at conferences on growing and expanding businesses. He sits on the boards of several companies in various industries. Lundquist received his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
