Founder and CEO of Osiris Innovations Group LLC in Auburn Hills. Saroli is responsible for the operational oversight of the company and has more than 20 years of business experience in sales, software development, purchasing, and supply chain management. Saroli co-founded Osiris in 2004 as a subsidiary of his company, D & M and Associates, which specializes in providing commodity management services for Tier 1 automotive manufacturers. As his work evolved at D & M, he identified a need for an automated system designed to track purchases from start to finish, commonly known as the procurement-to-payment process. Under Saroli's leadership, D & M was named the 2002 Supplier of the Year by Lear Corp. In 2005 Saroli established Osiris as a stand-alone company specializing in comprehensive supply chain management systems powered by Osiris' proprietary technology. The company has expanded twice since 2006, growing from a 2,400-square-foot office in Oxford with 10 employees to an 8,800-square-foot office in Auburn Hills with more than 40 employees in 2008. Osiris was named one of the 2008 Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100 and received the Crain's Small Business Award for 2008. Osiris supports many local organizations with financial and in-kind donations, including Boy Scouts of America, Leader Dogs for the Blind, and Children's Hospital of Detroit. Saroli received his bachelor's degree in business administration with a major in marketing management from Central Michigan University.

MOST INFLUENTIAL PERSONS: "My mom and dad, because of the core values that they encouraged. I'm a firm believer in core values and staying true to them no matter what you do in life. Everyone has different values and there's no single right or wrong but there are standards. I watched my parents stay true to their values and they taught their children the same thing."

WHERE MY FIELD/INDUSTRY IS HEADED: "Osiris and the field are headed toward supplying a single solution for procurement and payment processing needs. Some suppliers do part of it or have to partner to offer the full cycle of procurement-to-payment process. Payments and reconciliation are the biggest part. Most were initially focused on hub technology because they were focused on the buyer and procurement side but they forgot the supply chain. Our focus has been on both sides and more so on the supply chain, so it's scalable not just for receiving point of sale information and invoices but for the full cradle-to-grave process. The industry is now focused more on solutions for the supply chain in the e-procurement environment. We already deliver that and continue to grow it."

FAVORITE TECHNOLOGICAL GADGET: "It would have to be my GPS for hunting and fishing. I love that thing. It holds all kind of information."

FAVORITE PLACE: "Home and in the woods."
