Leanne Bowen:
Senior Project Manager at Jones Lang LaSalle in Detroit. Bowen oversees day-to-day activities between clients, architects, and general contractors. She ensures that the scope of work is completed within budget and on schedule. She served as operations manager for the relocation project at Ford Land Development in Dearborn where activities ranged from simple box moves to complex, multi-phase campus relocations. She supported the team with Six Sigma and ISO certification experience, overseeing team policies and procedures, and linking Jones Lang LaSalle and Ford Land to ensure that best practices and innovations were shared and implemented. Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle in 2004, Bowen worked in the construction industry for 11 years. She was the project manager on a 115,000-sq.-ft. office building at Ford Field (home of PricewaterhouseCoopers); a 126,000-sq.-ft. Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Detroit; and a 115,000-sq.-ft. fitness center at Wayne State University. She also has served as purchasing agent-manager on numerous projects. Bowman is also the 2009 president of Commercial Real Estate Women Detroit, which is dedicated to advancing the success of women in commercial real estate by promoting networking and professional opportunities among its more than 140 members. In her current role, Bowen is managing several projects for the state of Michigan, Whirlpool, and MasterCard. Additionally, she serves CoreNet Michigan's board as vice president for sponsorship. Bowen is a LEED-accredited professional and a certified ISO internal auditor. She recently was selected as one of
Crain's Detroit Business "40 under 40" and holds a bachelor's degree in business from Oakland University.
