KRISHNA KALLAKURI:
Founding Partner and Vice President, Tera Networks Inc. in Northville. Kallakuri is responsible for executing strategic planning, improving operational effectiveness, and leading strategic initiatives for the company, including its green initiative and philanthropic efforts. Tera Networks created Tera G, an initiative to help businesses find the “green” in their IT infrastructure. With more than 13 years of IT experience, Kallakuri has a vast knowledge of IT applications and infrastructure, which include technical architecture, design, development, and deployment. His background has helped Tera Networks become one of the fastest growing IT consultancies in the Midwest. As a consultant, he was responsible for the design and implementation of technical projects for multiple companies, including Barclays, Blazent, Freddie Mac, Ford Motor Co., and Meijer. Kallakuri is also a founding partner and vice president of Northville-based DataFactz, a provider of IT services, such as data warehousing and business intelligence, to clients that include Walt Disney, Volkswagen of America, Con-way Freight, Darden Restaurants, Food Lion, Interstate Batteries, and Ryder Systems. Tera Networks recently donated computers to the Children’s Center’s Young Adult Self-Sufficiency Program. Kallakuri received his bachelor’s degree in electronics and communication engineering from Bangalore University in India.
