JOB DUTIES: The College of Architecture & Design seeks candidates for a faculty position in Architecture and Art & Design, in the area of electronic methodologies. Applications for this tenure-track Assistant Professor or College Professor (non-tenure track) position should understand design as an integrated and critical process of the built environment and be willing to engage in design studio collaboration with faulty and support courses in a variety of design disciplines. Knowledge and appreciation of relevant and emerging architectural and design software is essential.
QUALIFICATIONS: A terminal degree in architecture is required. Professional registration or a Ph.D. is desirable, but not essential.

JOB DUTIES: The College of Architecture & Design seeks candidates for a faculty position in Art & Design, in the area of Game Art. The candidate will be responsible for curriculum development, recruiting adjunct faculty, networking with industry representatives, and assisting with program positioning and student recruitment. The candidate will be required to teach a full-time faculty teaching workload, as defined by the University’s Faculty Handbook. The candidate is expected to contribute in the area of service. This may involve serving on University or College committees, as well as involvement in professional or community activities.
QUALIFICATIONS: MA, MFA, or an equivalent design degree.

JOB DUTIES: The Department of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Communication at Lawrence Technological University has an opening for a Senior Lecturer of Psychology for the 2013-2014 academic year. This full time position will begin in Fall 2013 and requires teaching 12-undergraduate credits during each of the Fall and Spring semesters from among the Psychology Program curriculum, including (but not limited to) Abnormal Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Drugs and Behavior, History and Systems of Psychology, Introductory Psychology, Psychology of Emotions, Research Methods, and Statistics.
The ideal candidate will have obtained a PhD in developmental, social or clinical psychology or a related field by August 2013. Candidates for this position should be committed to the development of a nationally recognized undergraduate psychology program in which interdisciplinary collaborations occur between psychology and life sciences, engineering, business, computer science, architecture, and the humanities. Candidates will be expected to blend theory and practice by bringing research and scholarship into the classroom. Candidates will be expected to assist the Program Coordinator in program assessment, student advising and recruitment activities. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue through May 1, 2013.
QUALIFICATIONS: The applicant must have earned a doctorate in Psychology or a related field.

HIRING SUPERVISOR: Biomedical Engineering Director DIVISION: College of Engineering DEPARTMENT: Electrical and Computer Engineering TYPE: Full-Time
JOB DUTIES: Lawrence Technological University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in biomedical engineering, with particular emphasis in the field of medical sensors, development of patient monitoring devices, and instrumentation. Experience in the field of biomedical imaging is a plus. Potential areas of interest include, but are not limited to, orthopedics, cardiovascular, neural engineering, development of therapeutic and surgical devices, and development of artificial organs. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with FDA and ISO 13485 procedures, animal or clinical trials and experiences in the medical device industry. JOB DUTIES: The Center for Innovative Materials Research (CIMR) of the Department of Civil Engineering at Lawrence Technological University invites applications for two positions: a Research Assistant Professor and a Postdoctoral Research Associate in FIRE, SMOKE, and TOXICITY (FST). Responsibilities include working closely with the principal investigator and collaborators on developing test protocols for FST for materials, components, and subsystems, as well as conducting FST material tests. Additional responsibilities include assisting to publish completed work.
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering field. The successful candidates will have expertise in materials testing for fire, smoke and toxicity, and have familiarity with existing standards in these areas.
