It is because of this that all students are required to demonstrate proficiency in English. The minimum requirements are as follows: TOEFL Paper-Based Test 550, TOEFL Computer-Based Test 213, and TOEFL Internet-Based Test 79. Lawrence Tech also recognizes IELTS as an acceptable method of demonstrating English proficiency. The minimum score on an IELTS examination is 6.0. If a score on either test is below the minimum requirements, the student will not be allowed to take LTU Online coursework. A passing score must be obtained before admission can be offered.
PERSONAL INTERVIEW
If a personal interview is required, it will be conducted by LTU Online. These will be web based interviews using video capabilities. A student applying to an online program must be able to access an internet based video camera on a regular basis to partake in coursework. The time and specifications of the interview will be disclosed by LTU Online if such an interview is being required.
DISCLOSURE TO INTERNATIONAL LTU ONLINE STUDENTS
By participating in our distance learning option through LTU Online, the student recognizes they are waiving all rights to enrolling in coursework taught within the United States.
