Financial Aid and Scholarships
Undergraduate international students are eligible for the same academic scholarships as US citizens and permanent residents. Information about scholarships can be found on the financial aid portion of our website. Both undergraduate and graduate students can apply external scholarships (scholarships awarded from a non-LTU source) toward the cost of attending Lawrence Tech.
Graduate international students are eligible for a limited number of highly competitive scholarships. These scholarships are for $4,000 per year for up to 2 years (4 semesters). Awards are made for the Fall 2010 semester for new international students only. All eligible candidates are considered as of April 15 of each year. Notifications are then sent to those awarded the scholarship.
If you are a US citizen or a permanent resident, you can apply for federal financial aid by going to www.fafsa.ed.gov and completing the Free Application for Financial Aid (FAFSA). If you do not meet either of these criteria, you can look into one of the following:
Sallie Mae Signature Loan: www.salliemae.com
Education One Loan through Bank One: www.educationone.com
