Especially for Exchange Students

International work and educational experiences provide many benefits including cultural awareness, professional exposure and experience, friendships, and future international relationships enabling foreign commerce and policy.  It is critical to truly understanding technology growth, design, engineering and manufacturing.  This will become only more important as international boundaries become less distinct, and the design environment becomes more and more virtual. There are three types of global programs available:

1. Traditional Exchange Programs
Lawrence Technological University welcomes students studying at foreign universities wishing to study abroad.  We have partnerships with schools in China, Denmark, Germany, and Mexico.  There may also be an opportunity for you to complete a paid cooperative education experience where you can actually work while in the United States.

2. Summer Study Program
We offer both a shortened-summer program (exclusively for Monterrey Tech students - please read the brochure Monterrey Tech International Summer Program ) and semester study options. 

3. International site partnerships
There are also select programs offered on-site at locations in Canada and China (WenZhou).  Please contact us to find out if there is a program available for you.
