My interest include God, Jesus Christ, programming, volleyball, walleyball, and RTS games. I am involved in Campus Crusade for Christ, and the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

Amanda Kight: Architecture

My major interests are ice cream, puppies, Google, travel, and people watching (not all at the same time). I enjoy playing with my dog Milo and talking to people. I have multiple jobs on campus and put a lot of effort into my classes. I love microphones and America.

 Kalie Wale

Kalie Wale: Architecture

This will be my last semester at LTU as an undergrad. I have worked on campus for the past four years and am also a member of Tau Sigma Delta. In my free time I enjoy reading, baking, shopping, and spending time with my family and friends. I also love to try new restaurants and different types of food.

 Jacob Nabozny

Jacob Nabozny: Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering

I like to be outside to enjoy warm weather and to play sports like soccer and ultimate Frisbee. I enjoy reading and watching movies. I am involved with Campus Crusade for Christ. Most importantly, I love to have great times with great people.

My hobbies include football, soccer, most sports, weightlifting, watching movies, and traveling. I am involved with Sigma Phi Epsilon and am a North Housing Desk Worker.

 Shayna Cary

I love spending time with my family and friends; they are extremely important to me. In my spare time I enjoy doing activities that relax me such as playing volleyball, running, baking, shopping, and watching movies. I really like to travel and see new places. I am currently not involved with any organizations here on campus. I would, however, like to be a member of the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) and possibly the volleyball team next year. I am also working in the Financial Aid Office.

When I have free time I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I love playing sports including basketball, softball, a little soccer, and my favorite, volleyball. I also love to travel and plan on doing more.

Tim Olsen: Mechanical Engineering

On campus I am involved as a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon and Engineers Without Borders. Off campus I enjoy hanging out with friends and family, barbecues, and Frisbee. What I really like is being on the water, especially tubing and water skiing.

Hi my name is Fred Meinberg and I am a first year students mentor at Lawrence Tech. This fall I will be starting my third year in the architecture program. I am a member of the American Institute of Architecture Students, which is a great organization that can provide many opportunities in the field. On a lighter note, outside of school I enjoy going to new places, hanging out with friends, and playing lacrosse. I am looking forward to Discovery Days this fall and hope to see you all there!

Location: Native to architectural studios. Has been sighted in many areas on campus.

Activities: Has been known to participate in several activities. These can include but are not limited to watching movies, listening to music, drawing, biking, and running. Sometimes all at the same time.

Organizations: Honors Society, Student Government, Student Planning Activities Monthly (SPAM), and American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).

I am a currently a Junior. I live in Troy and commute to LTU. I am an intern for an architecture firm in Dearborn. My interests/hobbies include snow boarding, ice skating, drawing, watching movies, and going out.

 Megan Hollowell

Megan Hollowell: Environmental Chemistry

I enjoy reading, scrap booking, and doing crafts and puzzles. I also enjoy playing with my dog, Daisy, who is a Silky Terrier. I often volunteer for different organizations and like trying to make a difference in the world. I believe that helping others and getting a good education is extremely important. I am currently a member of the Spanish Club and the Society of University Leaders (SOUL) here at LTU. Being involved in your school and showing school spirit is extremely important. Go Blue Devils!

 Stephanie Shevenock

Outside of school I enjoy reading, drawing, and painting. I am not on any sports teams, but I like swimming, biking, and bowling. On campus I am a member of the Scholars Group, the Math Club, the Alternative Energy Student Group (AESG), the Spanish Club, and the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). I also tutor for the scholars group and collect data from the wind tunnel in the Alternative Fuels Lab.

I am involved with Delta Tau Sigma, the Scholars Program, Society of University Leaders (SOUL), Students Planning Activities Monthly (SPAM), the Quest Project, and the Foundations of Excellence Subcommittee. I am currently Miss Lawrence Tech and am working on my year of service. My interests include music, playing the guitar, singing, and dancing.

I am a second year engineering student. I am the Honor Society Secretary and have also been involved with the Element One hydrogen car and the ASCE steel bridge competition. My hobbies include tennis, cycling, and basketball.

I am Christopher Harris and I am really excited to be a First Year Mentor. I am currently a Junior at Lawrence Tech and I love it here. In my spare time I enjoy keeping fit and staying healthy. Running and doing yoga are two of my favorite pastimes. I also love to travel. I think seeing the world and experiencing new cultures is very important. At LTU I am involved in Spanish Club and the Quest Program.

I am involved with Campus Crusade for Christ, American Institute of Architecture Students, Honors Society, Intramural Basketball, Bootcamp, and Society of Physics Students.

 Michael Newton

Michael Newton: Biomedical Engineering/Biomedical Concentration

My favorite hobby is my guitar. I have played since the 7th grade and spend a lot of my free time doing that. I enjoy video games and workout pretty rigorously. I play inter mural basketball and attend boot camp. I am a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon. I work at the LTU Computer Help Desk as a student assistant. I enjoy racquetball and tennis but I am not very good at either.

 Jamie Patterson

Jamie Patterson: Architecture

I enjoy playing tennis, playing volleyball, traveling, and being outside. In my free time I rollerblade with my dog. I love rock music and singing as loud as I can (when I am alone in my car). My hobbies include vacuuming (thats right, vacuuming) and playing video games with my little sister. One day I will own a Dyson and have dust free carpets.

Krysta Foster: Business Management Major

My name's Krysta and I will be a sophomore at LTU in the fall of 2009, pursuing a major in business management and a minor in Spanish. I live in South Housing where I love to hang out with my best friends, having homework parties and just chilling out. In addition to being a first year mentor, I am a Student Ambassador in the Admissions office, Vice President of Recruitment for my sorority, Delta Phi Epsilon, Public Relations and Marketing Chair for SPAM (Students Planning Activities Monthly), and a member of Spanish Club. Over the next year I look forward to meeting as many new people as possible, hopefully joining the volleyball team and getting even more involved on campus!

Ron Jenkins

Ron Jenkins: Computer Science/Computer Engineering

I will be entering my fifth year this fall studying Computer Science and Computer Engineering. This will also be my fourth year as a First Year Mentor and Team Leader. I am involved in SOUL and Student Government and have also served in the LTU Honors Society and the LTU Society of Dramatic Arts. My (very little) spare time is spent building/repairing computers, playing video games, and programming.
