Degree Requirements
The credit requirements are summarized as follows:

Applicants can choose elective courses and receive a concentration in one of the six following fields: Thermal/Fluid Systems, Solid Mechanics, Dynamics and Vibration Systems, Energy Systems, Manufacturing Systems, Automotive Systems, and Mechatronic Systems.
Thesis option students can obtain a concentration if they take two courses from one of the above areas and do their thesis in that same field. Nonthesis option students can obtain a concentration only if they take all four elective courses in one of the above areas. Students can receive only one concentration.
