Steel Bridge Team

The Lawrence Tech Steel Bridge Team participated in the Regional Conference this past weekend, and received very favorable scores! Our team placed in all 7 categories, and placed first overall! Our team will now advance to the National Competition, in Las Vegas, at the end of May.

The team received the following placements:

Construction Speed - First Place
Lightness - Second Place
Display - First Place
Stiffness - First Place
Economy -Third Place
Efficiency - First Place
OVERALL - First Place

 

Transfer Procedure

A maximum of six semester hours for graduate engineering courses taken at other accredited engineering colleges may be transferred provided they are deemed relevant by the Engineering Graduate Admissions Committee. Courses to be transferred, must have been taken in the last five years and a grade of “B” (3.00) or better must have been achieved. Students should petition the Engineering Graduate Admissions Committee by letter prior to completion of the first semester of graduate work. Students must submit evidence in addition to transcripts in the form of syllabi and examinations for each transfer course proposed. The Committee may require the applicant to demonstrate proficiency in the subject through interviews with faculty members who have expertise in the subject.
