Department of architectural engineering
Architectural engineers are “whole building professionals.” Important members of design teams, they use their creative skills and knowledge of structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering to help construct buildings that are beautiful and functional. LTU’s architectural engineering program is one of only a few in the nation specifically designed to develop your knowledge, skills, and experience in sustainable building design and systems engineering and integration. You’ll learn how to reduce the environmental “footprint” of buildings working alongside professors with industry experience and other architects and engineers.
