Student Employment Program

Student Employment is a resource for students seeking on and off campus employment, as well as Work-Study, Community Service, and Family Literacy program opportunities.  Lawrence Tech offers opportunities for regular part-time employment up to 20 hours per week.  Applications for all student employment positions are accepted in our online job resource database, CareerQuest.

To apply for student employment, search job postings for "Lawrence Technological University" as an employer and sumit your resume online for positions you meet the stated qualifications.

Using the CareerQuest system does not guarantee an interview or employment, but will help streamline the process of job searching. Career Advisors are available to assist in navigation, resume writing and critiquing, co-op and internship help, interest inventories, interview practice sessions as well as other services. The Office of Career Services may be contacted at ltuocs@ltu.edu or at 248.204.3140.

In addition to providing extra income, supervision and guidance while at the University, campus employers support student employees in their academic endeavors. On-campus employment has been shown to contribute to both academic success and professional and personal success after graduation.
