Spring 2010 Upcoming EventsFind Your First Professional JobThe Office of Career Services also offers “Find Your First Professional Job”, a comprehensive, 6-week program which provides students with the necessary career management skills to effectively identify and compete for employment opportunities related to their academic major. The OCS staff and partnering employers will provide coaching and support for students seeking to explore opportunities, develop cover letters and resumes, learn interview and networking skills, creating a professional image and using technology to achieve career goals. In addition, each student participant will be assigned a personal career coach who will assist with career management issues, and identifying prospective opportunities. To register for “Find Your First Professional Job”, please contact the OCS at 248-204-3140 or ltuocs@ltu.edu. “Find Your First Professional Job” will begin in Spring 2009.
