  • Astroinformatics as a discipline: Lessons learned from Bioinformatics
    Dr. Lior Shamir (LTU) will lead the discussion in a virtual seminar on Thu. Feb. 16, 2012 at 11 am Pacific/SLT (1 pm central, 7 pm UK, 8 pm Italy) in MICA small auditorium on StellaNova, SL.
    MICA seminars are organized by Dr. George Djorgovski (Caltech).
  • RoboSumo competition is to take place on Sunday, Feb 12, 2012, Noon to ~6pm, at Somerset Mall in Troy
  • New Robot lab opens on December 15th, 2011. The new lab will be located at  Buell Management Building.
     
  • The International Mathematical Contest in Modeling will take place on LTU campus on February 9 through February 13, 2012. The contest involves modeling a real-world problem in a real-world setting.
     
  • LTU’s RoboParade will be part of North American Auto Show at COBO Hall, Detroit, on January 14, 2012.
