Degree Requirements

The 126-credit hour program in Chemical Biology consists of:

• 38-44 credits of chemistry, including biochemistry and physical biochemistry
• 22-28 credits of biology
• 15 credits of mathematics, including calculus and statistics
• 8 credits of physics with laboratory component
• Selected upper-level courses in the following areas: advanced biochemistry, biochemistry, cell biology, immunology, microbiology, molecular genetics, physical biochemistry, and physiology
• The distinctive LTU humanities core curriculum, including courses in communication, literature and the arts, history and philosophy, and more
