Graduate Certificate in Urban Design
The 12 credit hour urban design certificate curriculum allows students to concentrate their study and research in urban design while they fulfill the degree for the Master of Architecture. The purpose of the urban design certificate program is to provide the fundamental knowledge and special and critical thinking skills required to design urban and suburban environments. Students who complete the program will have the skills necessary to begin work as design professionals and work with other professionals in designing, regulating and /or managing the development of extensive environments. The certificate courses provide the student with a firm grounding in theory, methods and practical skills. Students are able to synthesize and apply knowledge and skills obtained in program courses
