AAC High School Tutors
Tutors for the AAC High School Tutoring program are carefully selected for their ability to work well with high-school age students, and must have worked as tutors for the AAC for a minimum of one year. Tutors demonstrate a mastery of subject material through grades in select courses and faculty recommendations.

Haley Smith High School Tutoring Coordinator AAC Front Desk Staff hsmith@ltu.edu, 248-204-4120 Haley is a junior at Lawrence Tech pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering. Haley started working as a front desk assistant at the AAC in fall 2008, and took over coordination of the high school tutoring program in December 2008. Additionally, Haley tutors German and occasionally math at the AAC. Haley is involved with the Lawrence Tech's Greek system as Vice President of her sorority. Haley is from Rochester Hills, Michigan. |

Keith Marks is from Elma, New York and moved to Michigan three years ago to attend Lawrence Tech. He is an Architecture and Interior Design dual major and plans to graduate in the spring of 2012. Keith has received honors in his IDS1 and IDS2 studios, as well as an honorable mention in the freshman Cardboard Chair Competition. He plans on studying for a semester in Florence, Italy next fall where he intends to travel around Europe during his stay. He enjoys snowboarding, soccer, playing his guitar, and long walks on the beach. After graduation, Keith plans on getting his masters degree in Architecture and eventually opening his own firm. |

Andrew Smith joined the AAC staff in August 2009 as a math and writing tutor. He is a sophomore majoring in computer science. Originally from Toledo, Ohio, Andrew has lived in many other places, including North and South Carolina, Maryland, California, and Okinawa, Japan, while serving with the United States Marine Corps. Andrew is a member of Blue Devil Development, the Lawrence Tech video game design club, and has a passion for creating games. Andrew's other interests include reading, movies, military history, and keeping his cat happy. |

Deanna (Dee) Hewitt is a sophomore majoring in Architecture. Dee joined the AAC staff in August 2009 as an architecture tutor. She will be tutoring Revit, AutoCad, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other software programs used in the College of Architecture. Dee is involved with Lawrence Tech's SPAM (Students Planning Events Monthly). In her free time, Dee likes to go shopping and hang out with friends, or play sports such as softball, racquetball, and tennis. Dee also works as a front desk assistant at the AAC |
